Welcome to the NA Members version of the Website (Intranet site) of the Orange County California Area of Narcotics Anonymous.

This version of www.orangecountyna.org is not intended for the public, and is meant for members of the NA fellowship. Please do not link to this section of the website from sites that are accessible to the general public.

If you switched over to this version in the past, you know you needed a user id and password. At our last PI Subcommittee meeting we decided to remove the requirement (it was actually removed the morning of 8-15.) The NA Member version was made available on 05-26-08, but between then and 8-15-09 we only had 343 hits ("visits") to the members version. During the same period we had 23,072 visits to OrangeCountyNA.org.

There are still areas (the individual subcommittee secured data areas) that require a userid and password for access. Information of this nature is tagged with a message warning you that a specific service subcommittee or ASC Trusted Servant user name and password will be required for access. These user names and passwords have been given out within the service structure. If you see the User Name Password promt it means that one of these service user names is required. For more information on this subject visit the Website Information page.

This version of the website was built by cloning the public website (so the navigation would be familiar to you.) In addition all of the information that appears on the version that can be accessed by non-NA members has been left intact.

There is also an option | Exit NA Members Area | at the bottom of each page that will take you back to the view the public has should you want to do this.

You will find files, images, documents, materials and resources that are pertinent to service and recovery in Narcotics Anonymous, yet they were intended to be protected as issues that fall under our NAWS FIPT policies and our eleventh and twelfth traditions concerned with anonymity and all its implications. We therefore invite NA members to review, utilize and enjoy the contents of this internal section of the website, but please do not provide access to the sections of the website secured by service structure user names to anyone who is not a member of Narcotics Anonymous. Fellowship members are invited to review the content herein, which will be supplemented and updated on a regular basis, to use in assisting the recovering addict to carry the message of hope and recovery in Narcotics Anonymous. We need your feedback; comments, concerns, personal submissions or suggestions for new material you would like to see added to the site--whatever you feel is important, we would like to hear.

If and when the various area subcommittees elect to allow you to do so you will be able to contact them via email. Email addresses for subcommittees and service functions within the area that have decided to do this can be found on the service page. In some cases they also have been published on the public site. This depends upon whether their service work is inward facing (as a sevice function to the fellowship) or outward facing (as a service function to the public and future NA members) or both.

Welcome to the official Orange County California Area of Narcotics Anonymous website. Narcotics Anonymous is an international, community-based association of recovering drug addicts with more than 50,000 weekly meetings in 130 countries (as of April 2008). The Orange County Area of Narcotics Anonymous serves Buena Park, La Habra, Brea, Fullerton, Los Alamitos, Cypress, Yorba Linda, Placentia, Anaheim, Stanton, Garden Grove, Westminster, Orange, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Tustin, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine. (Map) We hold regularly scheduled meetings within these cities.

Narcotics Anonymous is a non-profit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other live drug-free. It costs nothing to attend an NA meeting. There are no dues or fees; the only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs, which includes alcohol. Our fellowship focuses on recovery from the disease of addiction, an individuals drug (or drugs) of choice is unimportant. Anyone may join us regardless of age, race, sexual identity, creed, religion or lack of religion.

Our primary purpose as an organization is to carry a message of recovery to the still suffering addict. Hopefully, our fellowship may be of benefit to you, or to the people you serve. Any questions you might have about Narcotics Anonymous can be directed to the Orange County Webservant . You can click on Send Email to The Webservant at the bottom of this page to originate an e-mail from within the website. In addition you can find additional email addresses for the "NA Service Subcommittees", who you might want to contact directely, listed on the "Service" page of the website.
